This 3 - day Seminar - Retreat is designed for priests, religious, and lay persons interested in deepening their quest for spirituality. Participants will expand their understanding of Christianity and Asian spirituality throught guided prayer experiences and discussions on:
- Eastern and Western Spirituality
- The Structure of Mystical Introspection
- The Asian Ways of Thinking
- An Asian Reading of the Gospel of John
- The Divinization of the Human as the Meeting Point of Religions
Sebastian Painadath, S.J.
- is the founder director of Sameeksha Ashram, Center for Indian Spirituality at Kalady, Kerala, India. He obtained his doctorate in systematic theology in Germany and has done through study of Indian classics. He is currently engaged in spiritual ministries and inter-religious dialogue in India and other Asian countries, as well as in the West. A resource person of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences for interreligious Dialogue, he has published, among others, The Spiritual Journey, We are Co-Pilgrims, and The Power of Silence (this last published by Claretian Publication).
Seminar Retreat Fees:
Live-out Rate: PhP 2,000 inclusive of lunch and snacks for 3 days
Live-in Rate: PhP 2,800 inclusive of 3 days / 2 nights board and lodging at the Claretian Retreat House in Sanville Subdivision, Tandang Sora, Q.C. (Shuttle service provided)
