The poet describes her encounter with the Divine in the grandeur of His creation. She is drawn to the beauty around her surroundings where she experiences joy, comfort and rest, and love. In the end, God speaks to us, calls us towards stewardship, to care for this that we value. In all of His creation, God is truly present with us.
The photos were captured by Sr. Krisel while exploring the marvelous place of HOGAR, which she refers to as “the grandeur of God's creation”.
Ang araw sa aking pahina
Ikaw ang pahinga
Pagmamahal mo ay dama
Sa ganda ng aking nakikita.
Ako ay nabighani
Sa aking sulyap, ako'y nawiwili
Nais kong manatili
Sa 'yong piling na ako ang tinatangi.
Nilikha mo'y kamangha-mangha
Ang dulot ay lubos na ginhawa
Sa tanaw na ubod ng ganda
Parang di makapaniwala, lahat ay kaaya-aya.
Hindi kita nakikita
Pero alam kong nandito ka
Damangdama ang iyong presensya
Tunay kang Dakila.
Ang ulap tila ay yumayakap
Mga halama'y humahalimuyak
Ang ‘sang nilikha ay umiindak
Isama na insektong nangungusap.
Isang panawagan
Ako ay ingatan
Bigyang halaga sino man at ano man
Dahil sa lahat ng iyan ako matatagpuan.
Andito ako magpakailanman!
